PRESS RELEASE

On December 28, 2006, the Foreign Intelligence Service completed the process of handing the National Council for Studying the Securitate Archives (CNSAS) all the files, amounting to a total of 19,412, that fell under the provisions of Law no. 187 / 1999 on the access to one’s own file and exposing the Securitate as political police.
