PRESS RELEASE

On March 19, 2007, Mr. Claudiu Săftoiu submitted the Parliament of Romania his resignation as the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

Mr. Traian Băsescu, President of Romania, was informed on this in his capacity as the Chairman of the Country’s Supreme Defense Council.
